Helen's Dairy Catalogus

Our grandmother, “Mama Helen”, is an understanding for many people who ever came across her. Mama Helen introduced frozen yogurt in bags to the Gambia over 20 years ago. It is Mama Helen that coached us in to making the very best yogurt today. We therefore consider it an honor to be allowed to use her name as our company name.
Our dairy produce first started from our Kololi kitchen in September 2001. Due to success it quickly became necessary to build a dairy factory which was taken into use in November 2005. 
We are a licensed and professionally operating dairy plant. Until today, we are still processing through simple and honest methods a variety of produce adjusted to the market’s needs.

The commercial dairy customers are supermarkets, restaurants, and hotels. We supply every Monday and Friday freshly produced yogurt and cheeses. These will be either products of our standard list, as published below or special, tailor made on our customer’s request.

We were trying to employ in particular women  but do to the seemingly unstoppable exodus of our young men, in search of greener pastures, we decided to offer them a chance as well.

 If you require a yogurt product not mentioned in our catalogus, please let us know as we are likely able to service.

    Care for Natural is our umbrella name for various trainings and charitable activities. We supply products such as Mama Helen’s Produce in dairy from cow’s milk, including yogurt,  cream cheese, spreads, Yummi vanilla and fruit flavoured yogurt, Greek yogurt and feta cheese.
